Historic Florida Militia, Inc.

501(c)3 Volunteer organization of Living History Interpreters providing true and accurate history of St. Augustine from 1513 to 1823. We do this through historically accurate encampments, presentation of events that happened throughout the time periods in Colonial St. Augustine(re-enactments), education and printed materials. We travel throughout Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina,Tennessee and anywhere we are asked to teach Spanish History. There are 5 DBAs of Historic Florida Militia representing different time periods of Colonial St. Augustine: Men of Menendez & Drake’s Men (16th Century Spanish/British), Searle’s Buccaneers (17 Century Spanish/British), The St. Augustine Garrison (18th Century Spanish), East Florida Rangers (18th Century British), & Red Children of the Forest (Indigenous Group)
