Ghost Tours of St. Augustine, Inc.

Ghost Tours of St. Augustine got its beginnings in 1992 when a local historian decided that visiting school groups needed a fun, yet educational, evening activity. Joining forces with several local writers and researchers, she developed a tour based solely on ghosts and other strange occurrences in St. Augustine; it was the first tour of its kind in St. Augustine and became an instantaneous success- A Ghostly Experience was born.

Today, Ghost Tours of St. Augustine is part of Tour Saint Augustine Inc., which employs professional storytellers, guides and tour managers to preserve St. Augustine’s past. We continue to study and uncover even more haunting tales of the town’s dark history. All of our stories are researched through historic libraries, old church documents, diaries and personal interviews. Nothing is made up nor exaggerated and there are no “effects” used on tours… if you have A Ghostly Experience while out there with us, you’ll know its authentic!

A Ghostly Experience Walking Tour is a 75 minute lantern led tour with a guide in period dress that takes you through the back alleys of St. Augustine telling you the ghostly history of the town. We also offer the Creepy Crawl Haunted Pub Tours, as well as a variety of other experiences to explore the city’s haunts.
